Different job than LinkedIn
Zoom, Meet, and Teams show your photo large on the waiting screen and small in the gallery. You need a clear face, strong contrast, and a calm background — similar to LinkedIn, but slightly more approachable is fine. Extreme studio glamour can feel stiff when people finally turn cameras on and meet the real you.
Technical tips
Use a square image, face centered, shoulders visible. Avoid tiny faces in a wide frame. File formats JPG/PNG both work; keep resolution above 400×400. Update the photo inside each app’s settings — desktop and mobile clients can cache old images, so check both.
Match the rest of your stack
